itinerary
Arrive at Leh Airport and meet our representative for your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, take time to relax and acclimatise to Ladakh’s high altitude. Later, explore Leh’s highlights, including Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Hall of Fame, Leh Market and the Tibetan Market.
After breakfast, set out on a scenic excursion through the Indus Valley and Sham region. Visit Spituk Monastery, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, the Indus–Zanskar confluence and SECMOL, made famous by 3 Idiots. Enjoy spectacular mountain and river landscapes before returning to Leh.
Drive towards Nubra Valley, crossing Khardung La, one of Ladakh’s iconic high-altitude passes. Continue through dramatic mountain terrain to Diskit, home to its famous monastery and giant Maitreya Buddha. Later, explore the Hunder Sand Dunes, with an optional Bactrian camel ride.
Today, drive to Turtuk, a picturesque Balti village close to the Line of Control. Explore its traditional stone-and-wood houses, narrow lanes, apricot orchards and distinctive Balti culture. Enjoy views of the surrounding mountains and the Shyok River before returning to Nubra.
Leave Nubra and follow the scenic Shyok River route towards Pangong Lake. Arrive at the spectacular high-altitude lake, surrounded by rugged mountains and changing shades of blue. Spend the afternoon enjoying the lakeside scenery and visit the popular 3 Idiots shooting point.
Depart Pangong for the remote landscapes of the Changthang region and continue towards the serene Tso Moriri Lake. The journey passes through vast high-altitude plains, mountain landscapes and nomadic settlements. Arrive at Korzok, situated beside the lake, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Continue towards Sarchu through some of the most spectacular landscapes of the Ladakh–Manali route. En route, experience the stark beauty of Puga Valley, Tso Kar, Moore Plains, Gata Loops, Nakee La and Lachulung La. Arrive at Sarchu and settle into your camp.
Begin the final leg of your Himalayan expedition towards Manali. Cross Baralacha La and pass the beautiful Suraj Tal and Deepak Tal before descending towards Himachal Pradesh. Continue through the mountains and Atal Tunnel to reach Manali by evening. Tour ends at Manali.
