Arrive at Tromsø Airport, where you will be transferred to your hotel in the city.
After settling in, make your way to the shuttle bus stop, just a short walk from the hotel. Travel by comfortable shuttle to the base of Mount Storsteinen, then board the iconic Fjellheisen Cable Car for spectacular panoramic views over Tromsø, the surrounding fjords and the Arctic landscape.
Take time to enjoy the scenery and capture the dramatic beauty of Tromsø from above before returning to the city.
After breakfast, make your way to the departure point for your Polar Whale Safari.
Set out on an early-morning adventure with Polar Adventures towards Skjervøy, one of the Arctic’s prime whale-watching areas. Cruise through spectacular fjord landscapes in search of humpback whales and orcas in their natural habitat.
Keep an eye out for sea eagles and Arctic birdlife along the way, while experienced guides provide insights into the region and help maximise wildlife and photography opportunities.
Return to Tromsø after the safari and, later, head out on a Northern Lights wilderness excursion in search of the elusive Aurora Borealis.
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Tromsø Airport for your flight to Rovaniemi.
On arrival, transfer to your apartment before heading to the enchanting Santa Claus Village.
