The Great Migration is one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife spectacles—the annual movement of around 1.5 million wildebeest, accompanied by hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles, across the Serengeti–Mara ecosystem of Tanzania and Kenya.
Driven by the search for fresh grazing and water, the herds follow the rains in a vast, circular journey. From the calving plains of southern Serengeti and Ndutu, they move north through the Serengeti, eventually reaching the Masai Mara, where the dramatic Mara River crossings can take place. Crocodile-filled waters, steep banks and enormous concentrations of animals make these crossings among the most iconic moments of the safari year.
The migration is not simply a journey north and south—it is a continuous cycle of birth, survival and renewal. During the calving season, thousands of young are born within weeks, attracting predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and wild dogs. As the rains shift, the herds move again, perpetually following the green flush of the African plains.

Morning on arrival at Nairobi International airport, our guide will meet you and drive to Masai Mara. Check in for lunch and embark on your first safari.
Go for morning and afternoon drives at Masai Mara. You will see an extensive amount of wildlife in the vast open savannas of Mara. You can even opt for full-day game drives with packed breakfast and lunch. We focus on various Lion prides, Cheetah hunting sequences & the elusive Leopard sighting. We will find Hippos among other mammals and a lot of avian life. Your three full days at Masai Mara are going to be thrilling, breathtaking and full of surprises. You will be witnessing the World’s best wildlife and be ready to be swept awaay in Masai Mara’s splendour.
After Breakfast, checkout and drive to Nairobi, drop off at the International airport for onward flight.
